Sydney sheldon died today at the age of 89. He was no doubt a great novelist. He won awards in three categories, the movies, novels and theatre. But why do i have write about him in my blog? Because he was my first read. 'If tomorrow comes' -what an amazing and intriguing plot. How could one mind ever think of such plots? . No loose connections anywehere, such beautifully rounded ending, what more could i ask for. Tracey Whitney still inspires me even after 9 years !!
Unlike Dan Brown(www.danbrown.com) who was inspired to write a novel, after reading one of Sidney's , I was only inspired to read more. I have read the other titles like, The Stranger in the mirror, the other side of midnight, Are you afraid of the dark?,rage of angels, If tomorrow comes, Morining Noon and Night', The sky is falling..........He has never stopped to amaze me.
Makes me a little sad that such a great novelist has passed away. He wrote AutoBiography 'The other side of Me' just some time ago... But as any novel needs an ending here is the ending of a great saga!!!
