Explorer - Simply put first users of new google technologies. Google glass was developed by Google X, the division that develops technologically advanced gadgets.
The prototype was launched in April 2011, weighing more than 8 pounds. Today the glass weighs less than a pair of sunglasses on an average. Product testing began in April 2012 and featured at the Foundation fighting blindness event in San Francisco.
A explorer edition was released in April 2013 and for the first time ever, anyone can become an explorer in April 2014 ~ If you can spare your pocket change..no biggie.....
